World War 2 Workshop
Tuesday 16 Jan 2018 13:13pm
Today, we walked to Wakefield Archives for our World War 2 workshop. When we arrived, Catherine, our leader, led us into our room for the morning. We discussed what we had already learnt about World War 2 at school. Catherine was very impressed with our knowledge. Our first activity was unscrambling sentences from a war letter and working together as a group. We then discussed evacuees and what is was like for them. We put this into practice as we wrote evacuee letters to our school friends. Our morning finished after we made pictures of Anderson Shelters. The children worked very hard throughout and were a credit to our school.
