Mini Olympics

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip to Thornes Park Athletics Stadium last week due to bad weather. However, today Years 3 and 4 hosted their own 'Mini' Olympics on the school field. The children were
divided into family groups and were given a quick warm up. They then took part in a carousel of 5 different events. These were a 100 metre relay, a sack race, a 3 legged race, javelin and shot. All of the children had a great time and tried their best in every activity. Well done to the children who won bronze, silver and gold
certificates.
