Enhance Academy Trust is a growing Trust based in Wakefield and Kirklees. We currently have 10 Primary academies (increasing to 13 in September 2023) and a Post 16 Creative and Performing Arts free school. This newly created specialist role will join our Central Team and be the main point of contact for all Health and Safety matters across the Trust.
We are seeking an experienced professional in Health and Safety who is a solution focused individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key responsibilities will be:
To ensure the Trust upholds the highest level of Health and Safety in all its schools and conducts its operation in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act
To be responsible for developing and promoting a positive Health and Safety culture amongst school staff across all our school sites.
To be responsible for the effective and efficient daily management of Health and Safety, Fire Safety and compliance, policy implementation, monitoring and inspection, risk assessment, accident investigation and the delivery of training.

Salary: G9 -NJC SCP 28 to 31 (£32798 - £35336) Pro Rata
Hours: 18.5 or 22.75 hours per week (2 or 3 days) All Year Round. Term Time only may be considered.
